Simple Cable Knit Scarf Pattern

T’is the season to be freezin up here in Canada, which is why I thought it would be fitting to share a simple cable knit scarf pattern with you all today! With Valentine’s day just around the corner, I chose to work with a cozy pink yarn to match the holiday- Hobbii Fluffy Day in Pastel Pink!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may have noticed that I am a huge fan of incorporating cables into my designs. I love working with cables because they are a simple way to add texture and elegance to pretty much any knit piece you can name. And with so many ways to combine cabled stitches, there is an endless array of designs choices when working with them.

For anyone new to cables, cable knitting simply means that you cross or twist stitches over each other with the help of a stitch holder every few rows. I have shared a couple of videos demonstrating cable knitting in progress on my Instagram account, so please follow me: @leelee_knits and check out my reels to see how easy cable knitting can be!

Pay it Forward!

I hope you enjoy this pattern! Please feel free to share the link to this page on your social media or Pinterest account.

I truly appreciate all of you who get the word out about this site and my patterns!
