what brand bulky weight yarn did you use and what hook size?
Hi Tammy, I used a size H/8 (5mm) hook and Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky yarn.
yes I’m sorry I did see that after when I pulled the pattern up on my laptop but when I was on my phone it didnt show. That seems like a small hook size for a chunky yarn. Is the yarn not a real thick chunky? I read a review about the yarn not being consistent in thickness for different colors have you used different colors and found that to be true? Thanks for your help thinking of making some of these for quick Christmas gifts.
Can I use other chunky yarns such as Charisma to make these?
Sure, as long as they are bulky weight it should be fine.
What yarn would you recommend as a substitute for the Paintbox yarn?
Hi Deborah, Any bulky weight yarn would work for these boot cuffs.
